Cara Thornton
Cara, a freelance writer and editor, was raised an Air Force kid with her two older sisters. She
still gets homesick for the UK and wishes she had appreciated the food more when she was a
picky teenager living in Japan. While completing her degree in creative writing and editing at the
University of Central Florida in Orlando, she met her husband, a Texas native, and they moved
to Parker County after graduation. Cara loves raising her three kids in North Texas and spends as
much time as possible entertaining her wonderful friends, playing pickleball, and traveling to visit
friends and family in far corners of the country -- always accompanied by her Frenchie pup,
Georgianna.
