A New Home with New Hope
When a local, established Christian school closed its doors, teachers and families came together to develop what is now a new home for students. New Hope Education, Inc. was built with love, prayer, and a dedicated community of families.
New Hope believes that the core beliefs of the Christian faith are the central hub of educational teachings. Learners at New Hope are developed to be mature, Christ-like individuals, uniquely positioned to contribute to their work, neighborhoods, church, and communities.

- Biblical Doctrine. Spiritual development is the cornerstone of New Hope. First, they stand firm in a statement of faith in which the Word of God is at the core of their educational teachings. New Hope also attests the scriptures are true, authoritative, and sufficient. Finally, they abide by wisdom, knowledge, truth, beauty, and virtue as the foundation of learning.
- Academic & Character Excellence. Students are not only taught with strong biblical principles at the foundation, but they also learn in an environment where they are stimulated and motivated to reach academic distinction. Leadership is developed through hands-on service opportunities that help students gain experience, passion, and confidence well into the future. The school’s chosen curriculum is age-appropriate and strong. Children will advance from one grade to the next with a logical sequence of learning.
- Individualized Instruction. New Hope keeps its classes intentionally small. The whole child is developed when they can receive personalized attention, and the teachers at New Hope teach and lead with that in mind. Now, there are even smaller class pods with safety measures in place; kids receive more individualized guidance. Children receive ample class time as they explore a wide-range of study from the basics (reading, writing, and arithmetic) to science, history, art, and technology.
- Experiential Learning. Students explore and grow through experiential learning. New Hope is described as an urban environment located in Plano’s historic downtown area, which affords kids a unique opportunity to thrive in a diverse and eclectic setting. Students develop cognitively, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The Critical Thinking Lab is just one example of individual and experiential learning. Students learn based on their individual learning style, brain style, emotions, and talents.
- Diversity & Family Partnerships. Okay, maybe that’s two things. However, the families at New Hope thrive in their diverse atmosphere, and the support of one another! The families at New Hope are the foundation of the school. Students and their families connect with other families and teachers through service opportunities and community events.
