I can’t talk about Moviehouse & Eatery without first mentioning they were our #1 Readers’ Choice movie theater for date nights, girls nights, and family outings. As far as I’m concerned that’s all you need to know! But if you’ve never been before, let me give you a little more info on the way they do things:
Moviehouse & Eatery has plush recliner seating, service on-demand from your seat, and a scratch kitchen with a full food and drink menu—all the luxurious amenities that make a moviegoing experience so much more comfortable than when we were younger. And if Hollywood is going to continue making 2+ hour movies, I’m gonna need that recliner, thanks.
You probably know this by now, but when you go to a theater with such choice seating, you’ll want to reserve your spots online in advance. That’s what everyone else does, so if you wait until you get to the theater to buy tickets, the available seating will be much more limited.
We love Moviehouse & Eatery so much that we held our recent Moms Night Out (an Oceans 8 watching party) there, and everyone had a great time!
Plan to meet in the lounge and have a cheeky cocktail before the show. And don’t forget to check out their special events page; in addition to all the latest releases, they often show classic favorites (John Hughes Tribute Series, Best Picture nominees from years past, etc.).
As a Collin County-based blog, we have the most experience with their Craig Ranch location on 121 in McKinney, but they have locations in Keller and Flower Mound, too.
