Real talk: New Year’s Eve is eternally over-hyped and often more expensive than Valentine’s Day when it comes to ticket prices and reservations. Blue Martini (Shops at Legacy) :: This upscale, contemporary “locals bar” will host a Roaring 20s party tonight. Live music and DJ’s all night, countdown and champagne toast at midnight. Union Bear Brewing (Plano/Granite Park) :: This Brew Year’s Eve Party includes a special NYE menu, premium photo booth, throwback music from the DJ, and a countdown and free champagne toast. No reservations or tickets required. Brewery hours 11am-1am. Free entry.
Bonnie Ruth’s (Plano/Park & Preston) :: Their New Year’s Eve party includes a prix-fixe menu, 4-piece band, and Rat Pack vibes. Reserve your table at 8pm or later and you can keep it until midnight when they’ll have party favors and a champagne toast. This would be great for a group! Haywire (Legacy West) :: Champagne & drink specials, Box Garden entertainment, and fun up on the roof at Haywire. You can also reserve a table on the 2nd floor for a pre-party dinner (kitchen hours are extended to 11pm). 7pm-12am. Free admission to rooftop.
Whiskey Cake (Legacy West) :: Choose from a regular dinner reservation or a special 5-course pairing dinner with cocktails, wine, and bubbly. Sambuca 360 (Plano) :: How about a Wigs Out Dinner & Dance Party? Start the evening with a 3- or 4-course dinner and then dance the night away under dramatic lights and elaborate décor. The Grand Center (Plano) :: Come for a Hollywood/Bollywood Star Night at this Plano event space.
