Join us for our Preschool & Homeschool Discovery Day at the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary!
Families are invited to explore a full day of nature-based learning, hands-on activities, animal encounters, guided walks, and interactive experiences designed especially for preschool and homeschool students.
9 AM–12 PM (Preschool Programming)
12 PM–5 PM (Homeschool Programming)
Event Highlights:
• $5 entry
• Storytimes at 10 AM & 12 PM
• Animal talks at 11 AM, 1 PM & 2 PM
• Guided garden walks
• Outdoor scavenger hunt
• Special guests from North Texas Reptile Rescue
• Big Island Ice Snow Cone truck on-site
Teachers and educational groups will also have opportunities to connect with local resources, activities, and class offerings throughout the day.
