5 DIY Class Valentines Without the Sugar

I’m not the mom who is strict with candy intake (ignore what my kids say), but I know they get plenty of it from friends, teachers, classmates, and school. So, in lieu of sweet valentines, I bring you five clever ones without the sugar.

They are easy and cheap to DIY with your kids. In fact, my four- and nine-year-old kids made these with little help from me.

1. You Make My Heart Jump!

2. You Make My Heart Glow!

Materials: A package of glow sticks and a hole punch. Here is the printable.

Most craft or dollar stores have packs of 10 – 12 for a few bucks. Or, if you’re like me and have glow sticks left over from New Year’s Eve, use those! We go CRAZY with a kid-centered New Year’s Eve.

3. You Are A-MAZE-ING!

Materials: Tiny mazes. I’ve attached a color and black and white printable depending on which paper you use for these.

4. You Make My Heart Spin!

5. Color Me Happy

DIY class Valentine with crayons.

Materials: A few crayons and some cute washi tape. I was able to find a dozen four-packs of crayons for about $3. Last but not least, your printable.
