The last few months I’ve become a PRO at ordering anything and everything I need (AND DON’T NEED) online. While I miss “recreational shopping” (a.k.a., retail therapy), I may never go to the grocery store again! I’m so thankful that we live in an area that has access to so much grocery and product delivery.
I have also found that limited in-person shopping has led me to some products that I wouldn’t normally look for or find! I’d love to share my recent top Amazon finds with you.(Please note: I’m clearly not a product photographer, but seeing is believing, right?)
My Recent Favorite Amazon Finds
- Reduce 50 oz. Tumbler: This tumbler is amazing and keeps things hot or cold for 36 hours! I’ve never put hot beverages in it, but I can certainly attest to it keeping my water cold for a LOOOONG time. Ever since we’ve been homebound, I’ve been trying to exercise more and drink a lot of water during the day. However, I found it really annoying and hard to keep up with how many times I refilled my cup. (And I was going through way too many bottles of water!) This cup is so big, but if you drink about 2.5 of them a day, you’ve had a GALLON of water! There are lots of fun color combos, too!
2. Coffee: I’ve also found a couple of great coffees through Amazon, too! We love this Donut Cafe Medium Roast. It’s a perfect “regular coffee” without having a strong or burnt taste. (Sorry, Starbucks!) Donut Cafe comes in whole beans, and my son actually really enjoyed pushing the button on the grinder, so it was a win-win! I also fell in love with this Lola Savannah Texas Pecan ground coffee. I actually gave it to my husband with a Yeti mug for Father’s Day. It is a delicious and fun change up!
3. Gift Wrap Organizer: There are several kinds on Amazon, but I ended up ordering this one. There are NO WORDS for how life-changing this thing was! Our gift wrap, tissue paper, bags, and bows were exploding out of a plastic bin shoved into our playroom closet. It was a mess. This thing is double-sided, and has a TON of space! There’s a spot that holds wrapping paper rolls, zipper bags for bows and cards, AND it can hang from a closet rod or over a door with an included door hook.
4. Playtex Potty Genie: I was totally laughing out loud as I was using the Portrait mode on my phone trying to take a “classy” picture of a training potty! (What has my life come to?) Regardless…if you are anywhere near potty training in the near future, YOU NEED THIS. We bit the bullet during COVID (because there was nothing else to do) and potty-trained my two-year-old daughter. Let me preface this with the fact that potty training my son still gives me the chills: It was a horrifying experience.
For many reasons, my daughter was much easier, but this potty was a huge help. The seat lifts up and there is a removable insert, but also a spot underneath to store the liners, which thread through and pull out the back. You don’t HAVE to use the liners, but honestly, it was so LESS YUCKY not having to clean out an insert every time. It just felt like a cleaner process. It also made it super easy to take with us on the go. If my daughter used the potty while we were in the car, I just pulled the bag out and threw it away!
5. Elta MD Sunscreen: The more I read about skincare…the most important product mentioned is SUNSCREEN! I admit, I have never been great about applying sunscreen to my face daily. (Hence, the brown spots that are peeking out around my eyes and cheekbones.) Since we now have a pool and are outside so much, I was on the hunt for a facial sunscreen that didn’t feel so thick or make me look like Casper. I heard about this product on a podcast and ordered it immediately! And it is amazing. It’s so smooth, gentle, and, as it says, non-greasy. It is a little pricey for a small bottle, but I only use this on my face, and a little goes a long way! (And I mean, it’s MY FACE…it’s worth it, right?!)
