I have high hopes that one day my family of six will spend entire evenings sitting around a table effortlessly enjoying a meal and rich conversation. Right now, however, we get only 10 minutes before it turns chaotic — food dropped on the floor, a mambo line circling the table, and little feet sneaking away to play.
Since we realistically have 10 minutes to work with in this season, we capitalize by asking one question that everyone at the table takes a turn answering. As each person shares, we get a peek inside our kids’ minds as they process their days.
