Back That Thing Up to the Coolest Spot in Town: Sambuca 360

I’m a regular mom just living a mostly regular life, but when I’m invited out for some time away from the humdrum, I rarely say no. That’s why, when I had the opportunity to visit Sambuca 360, I jumped right at the chance. It’s practically in my backyard, and this mom was ready for a little excitement!

I’d been there before, so I knew to expect nothing but delicious food, upbeat music, and an environment that would take me away from my boring mom life. And even though I went on a school and work night, the outing did its job—it made me feel anything but regular.

Nestled in the trendy Shops at Legacy, Sambuca was serving up food to tempt my tastebuds. On this night, my friend and I started with some brisket potstickers, which, honestly, I can’t even describe in words. Mouth-watering, pull-apart brisket burrowed inside a crispy pastry, sprinkled with chives, and served with sweet soy lime dressing for dipping. Have you ever? For dinner, grilled fish tacos with heaping amounts of cabbage slaw and mozzarella. The portions were so large, I couldn’t finish if I tried…and trust me, I tried!

While we ate, the Redwine Band played some classic country and soul hits. I’m a country girl at heart, so any band that begins their set with Pat Green’s Wave on Wave is alright by me. While the band played, the dance floor was PACKED, and this really surprised me, considering it was a Thursday night. Then, in between sets, the DJ mixed up some Usher, Sam Hunt, and Beyonce, just to name a few. Then as the lyrics screamed out, “Big girl, come back it up,” I hit the dance floor, working off all those tacos and feeling the energy of the room pulsing through my body. Sambuca was hopping, and so was I!

Sambuca 360 was the perfect night out for me and my friends. It wasn’t far from home, so it was easy to get to. Plus, we sat right up in the action while having great conversation and surrounded by a high-energy band, dynamic light show, and huge screens all around. It made me feel like I was at a dance party! The place is so large though, if you wanted to have a quieter spot in the back to do some people-watching, tasting from their large drink menu, this would make for a great night away from a regular, humdrum life at home.

If you’re looking for a fun night out with friends or with your spouse, check out Sambuca 360. Dance the night away, eat some amazing food, and and immerse yourself in the excitement of this Plano fun spot!
