It seems that children’s clothing is just getting more and more expensive! And is it just me or are these kids growing faster than they used to? I’m pretty sure that in the time it takes me to drive home from the store, my children have already outgrown the clothes and shoes that I JUST BOUGHT! This is what started my love of consignment sales and children’s resale stores. Now I am able to buy gently used clothing, shoes, equipment, and even toys for a fraction of what I would pay in a retail store. Not to mention, it feels like a treasure hunt! There are many consignment sales in the area that occur bi-annually. Most sales will have one date in the spring for spring/summer items and in the fall for fall/winter items. The consignment sale season is already under way, but don’t worry, you’re not too late!

• Twice as Nice Consignment Sale

  • This sale is put on by the North Dallas Mothers of Twins Club and features over 20,000 gently used children’s items including clothing, shoes, toys, equipment, and more. Because this sale is run by a non-profit organization, prices tend to be significantly cheaper than prices at the larger for-profit consignment sales. Make sure to get there a little early for the best deals!
