CCM - Tea Shops - Top of Post - 900 x 300

Ding, ding, ding! It’s tea time! Collin County has MANY tea experiences. I am a tea enthusiast and am thrilled to share a tea list so long you won’t ever get bored.

There are tea houses, tea rooms, tea bars, bubble tea cafes, tea shops, traditional afternoon tea, bubble tea, loose-leaf tea, tea lattes, and of course, in its own Texas category, sweet tea.

Have a hankering for something else? Find your fix in one of our guides to all things sweet and sippable:

But first, let’s check out the many ways to enjoy a cup of tea.

A graphic with different types of tea establishments.

Now, browse the tabs below to find the perfect spot of tea!

Click on each tab to get started sipping tea throughout Collin County.

Bubble tea is a Taiwanese sweet drink, but there are lots of places to snag one in Collin County. This trendy tea is also called boba tea — a milk- or tea-based drink usually served cold to your level of sweetness (I prefer “half sweet”) and with bubbles. The “bubbles” are tapioca balls. It’s a fun concept — sip the drink and chew on the tapioca!

Note: It can be easy to choke on the tapioca balls given the slippery texture, so this drink is not recommended for young children.
