Did you know that Collin County Moms hosts SEVERAL community groups for moms in the local area????
What are community groups? Collin County Moms community groups are private Facebook groups where moms can ask questions, make connections, and find comradery. Each group (will soon be!) moderated by a leader who helps bolster discussion, organize meet-ups, and handle admin tasks.
Join the Team
The Collin County Moms team is currently accepting applications to join our volunteer community group leadership team. Our leaders are moms, such as yourself, that are wanting to make an impact in their community through encouraging, supporting, and connecting women in their motherhood journeys. We want to empower other moms to speak up and seek support by using our community groups as a local resource.
Collin County Moms wants to provide a place where moms can feel welcome — in their victories and struggles. Together, we can inspire other moms, and we may need to seek help and advice from others. Consequently, that is the exact purpose of our community groups!
Working with our community group leadership team provides an opportunity for growth and learning, which we all need in our lives.
The Groups
As the Collin County Moms community group coordinator, I love meeting and interacting with other moms all over Collin County through Facebook, local meetups, and our articles written by moms.
I met one of my closest mom friends in a community group many years ago and have enjoyed all the benefits of being in a local community group. Community groups are a great way to get ideas or tips from moms that might be in your same area or have the same family needs as you do.
Community groups are also a great way to meet local moms for playdates and meetups. Collin County is so diverse and large, and we need community group leaders to help us!
