No one loves a fun mom’s night out more than our team at Collin County Moms Blog. We do our best to factor in all the components that make up a fun night. A few nights per year we try to create an opportunity where you aren’t responsible for anything but your own fun! Nothing else, just YOUR OWN fun!
A couple weeks ago we had the pleasure of teaming up with the McKinney location of Moviehouse & Eatery. They worked right along side our team to ensure our group had a great night getting a first hand look at the new Ocean’s series’ film, Ocean’s 8.
The film features an all-star, all-female cast to tell the story of an elaborate jewel heist. There’s something so fun about a girl-power-type film that made this movie an excellent choice for a mom’s night out. Everyone had a great time watching the film, and couldn’t say enough great things about it after the movie wrapped. While the women watched the film, they had the luxury of continuing to order from the custom-made cocktails as well as order dinner from Moviehouse’s scratch-made kitchen, all from the comfort of their adjustable leather recliner. All the food was fantastic, but we highly recommend their bowls. Specifically the Southwest bowl…it was so tasty!
Let’s back up and talk cocktails, though. One of Moviehouse & Eatery’s specialties is their scratch-made kitchen and their ability to create custom cocktails for nights just like this one. They went all out and even had a VIP cocktail menu themed around the film, just for our group. The women had a great time sipping their drinks and also getting to mix and mingle with the fabulous sponsors we had join us that night.

There were also major bonuses for attending this event. Not only did all of our sponsors have amazing giveaways for those in attendance, Collin County Moms Blog had a whole slew of giveaways as well! Some of the giveaways included an unbelievable skin care gift set from Kate Somerville and a gift basket from Moviehouse & Eatery. Kate Somerville also generously gave each mom in attendance the opportunity to sign up for their signature Dermal Quench Oxygen Facial. What a treat!
After a fun evening of catching up with girlfriends, getting to watch a great movie, and enjoying dinner and drinks, the women were sent on their way with a swag bag chock full of goodies! The swag bags (valued at $30) ranged from Kate Somerville samples to baby gear that tops every mom’s list of most-wanted items. These bags alone were worth attending the event!
