Pearachute Kids: Activities for Every Stage

This post has been sponsored by Pearachute Kids to introduce readers to their class pass for kids, a monthly membership that gives DFW area parents on demand access to the best kids' classes in the area.  All opinions are 100% our own.

For a while I’ve wanted to get my son involved in a few kid’s classes around town, and this month the perfect opportunity came along!  We’ve been trying out Pearachute, a kids’ class membership in the Dallas area.  In a very short amount of time, we’ve dropped into a gymnastic class, jumped at the trampoline park, signed up for swim lessons and booked a Kindermusik lesson.  Let me fill you in on how the membership works and why it”ll be perfect for your family!

Variety

The ability to expose your child to multiple extracurricular activities is a unique feature – Jim Montgomery Swim School, The Little Gym, Kindermusik , science experiments at Perot Museum of Nature & Science, Stroller Strides, playdates at the trampoline park, and the list goes on!

Maybe your child has many interests and you’re struggling to find a way to give them variety.  Or your child may be too young, like mine, to express real interest in any one specific area, but he’s curious about everything.  The freedom of the class pass empowered me to feed his curiosity and passion by providing convenience and choice. Pearachute provides a huge variety of activities right at your fingertips.

Flexibility

While trying out Pearachute’s unlimited class plan, this was easily my favorite feature. Pearachute allows your child to experience a multitude of activities, without being locked into one specific class or program – you’ve got the flexibility to participate in sports, art, music, language and gross motor development classes all at once.

You simply browse the schedule online and sign up the week before, day before or even the day of, when spots are available.  You have the ability to plan ahead or fly by the seat of your pants.  If your day doesn’t go as expected, Pearachute allows you to easily log in and cancel classes (most within one hour of the start time), making it easy breezy to drop in to a class and later cancel if necessary.

If you desire to make your child’s schedule the same each week for a month or switch up your child’s schedule week to week, both are possibilities.  If you’re traveling, have a sick kiddo or just aren’t feeling it one week, you can adjust your schedule as needed.

Pearachute offers a three class, six class or unlimited class plan (per month), so you can choose the number of classes you want to attend.  Depending on how busy or relaxed you want your child’s extracurricular activities to be, they’ve got something for every family.  You can also cancel your plan anytime – flexibility at its finest.

Affordability

Last spring, my son attended swim lessons once a week, he began at one year old and it was his first weekly class to take.  We had a great experience!  I felt that he grew and learned after only a six week period, and I immediately began looking into other classes he could take.  Gymnastics, caught my eye!  He’s a physical little guy.  But I quickly found, after checking our budget, that we couldn’t easily afford two classes at once.  We would have to choose – one at a time, in order to not break the bank.

The affordability of Pearachute means you don’t have to stick to one activity per season or worry about ruining your family budget because your child is interested in more than one activity.  You pay one fee per month, can cancel at any time, and even have three different plans to choose from.  When I calculated the amount of money I would have spent attending classes using the unlimited pass, it far exceeded the cost of a Pearachute plan.  It’s hard to say no to saving money, while being given more options.

Her past several years have been spent inside the chaotic walls of a public school classroom, but now she turns her sights to the adventures of being a SAHM to son Levi (February 2015). She’s a compulsive iPhone photographer obsessed with documenting her ordinary days on Instagram. Many of those days involving the balance of story time at the local library, throwing a thrifty meal into the crock pot during nap time and keeping up with her mommy girlfriends. Because let’s be real, we need someone to talk to that can use more than three words in a sentence! She shares this messy, fun journey with her husband, Kevin. Most weekends, you can find them exploring the McKinney square with baby in tow in search of the best summer pie or a plate of BBQ.
