1. Barney’s Brunch House
At Barney’s Brunch House in Frisco, the brunch stands on its own. It’s LITERALLY in the name. And it has the distinction of winning readers’ choice for “Best Brunch” in The Dallas Morning News. Our advice? Get a pancake sampler and do a taste test with your group!
2. Bulla Gastrobar
At Legacy West in Plano, Bulla Gastrobar serves a three-course brunch of Spanish tapas. Choose an appetizer, main, and dessert for $31 per person. Serrano ham croquettes, anyone?

3. Ebb & Flow
Ebb & Flow is a Dallas original with a great Plano counterpart. Come for the hanging flowers and cool design, stay for the popular (largely savory) brunch. Try the Cubano Egg Rolls!
4. Fairview Farmers
Fairview Farmers in Fairview cooks up organic, high quality, local ingredients for all-day brunch. It hits all the brunch-y highlights you crave, and I love that you can order brunch shareables like croissant beignets and a pancake flight.
5. J. Theodore
Chill on J. Theodore’s patio in Frisco as you enjoy a fancy cocktail and the delicious brunch menu featuring a jar of lobster, salmon & bagel board, breakfast tacos, and all sorts of eggs benedict. Note: There is a DJ during brunch, so don’t expect quiet dining.
6. Layered
It’s always fun to dine at Layered in the heart of Historic Downtown McKinney, and not just because you can order bottomless poinsettias on the sunny patio. Bellabot, the robot server, delivers food to your table! The kids will absolutely obsess over this one. Make a day of it and walk the square with the fam after brunch.

7. Sixty Vines
Sixty Vines in Plano is stylish and great, and unlike its Uptown Dallas counterpart, the Plano one has parking! Say what you will about the suburbs, but you can’t deny the parking advantages. Anyway, Sixty Vines offers chef-procured charcuterie boards, and puts a twist on pancakes and French toast for the sweet tooth in your life.
8. The Biscuit Bar
Situated along The Boardwalk at Granite Park in Plano, The Biscuit Bar has that open-air vibe we love this time of year, and the whole area is great for families. It’s a popular spot, so a line can form quickly — everyone clamoring for that chicken and biscuit French toast — but it moves fast.
(If you aren’t interested in waiting in line on Mother’s Day, fair enough! Fork & Fire or Edith’s French Bistro, also on The Boardwalk, are also wonderful choices.)
9. Toulouse
Plano’s Legacy West has a very pretty, very French brunch option for us — Toulouse. Everything on the menu is mouthwatering, from the savory to the sweet, and the interior is seriously lovely. It’s not as much a child-friendly place as it is a moms-only spot, so treat her to a date, or reserve a few seats for mom, sister, and grandma.
10. Whistle Britches
Whistle Britches in Plano is cute, colorful, and casual. With both a menu and outdoor patio great for kids, it’s a fried-chicken-and-biscuits-kind-of meal. Adults enjoy specialty cocktails and hot or cold coffee options.
