Those six months felt very long. And along the way we learned some things. Contrary to popular belief, worrying isn’t what moms do best. It’s showing up.
Remember to keep the two-way lines of communication open, and remember that it’s all about relationship, so have a little fun along the way.
It's okay to show your children that you have a wide range of emotions, too. Take a break when you need it, apologize when you've snapped, and, most importantly, remember that this too shall pass.
