1. Anaya’s Seafood
Have a love of happy hours and seafood? Located in North Richardson, Anaya’s Seafood has both a drinks happy hour and a food happy hour (yes, please!).
Its drinks happy hour runs weekdays from 12:00 – 7:00 p.m. and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. During these times, score $7.95 cocktails and $4 draft beers. On Mondays and Tuesdays, choose a half-priced bottle of wine.
The food happy hour special is Monday through Thursday, 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Enjoy shrimp nachos, gulf oysters, and more for $7.95.
2. The Backyard
The Backyard is a restaurant in Murphy that accommodates families with its large, outdoor play area and yard games. Play cornhole or giant connect the dots, or enjoy a meal with your partner or friends while the kids play.
Happy hour is 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. daily. Choose from select $7 appetizers, $2.50 draft beers, and $6 barrel-aged cocktails, among others.
3. CamiCakes Cupcakes
I am so excited about this one: a CUPCAKE happy hour! Every Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., CamiCakes Cupcakes in McKinney offers $2 cupcakes. Take the kids after school or stop by for a treat yourself — we won’t tell!
Flavors include the classics — vanilla and chocolate — plus unique ones like banana cream, Texas turtle, and pineapple toasted coconut.

4. Fizz
Living up to its name, Fizz in West Plano is home to the most extensive champagne list in Texas. Happy hour specials include Martini Monday with $7 martinis all night, TNT Tuesday with a taco buffet and $2 frozen margaritas, and $4 wells all night on Wednesdays, among others.

5. Jhonny’s Mexican Restaurant
Thank you, Jhonny, for offering a happy hour all day, every day. Get a $5 margarita any day of the week from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Choose from mango, strawberry, or tamarindo, frozen or on the rocks.
With a focus on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, Jhonny’s Mexican Restaurant in St. Paul is the place to bring the family for authentic Mexican food.
6. Nerdvana
Calling all video gamers and board game lovers — Nerdvana in Frisco lets you play games while you eat and drink. Happy hour, Monday through Friday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., features half-price craft beer, wine by the glass, and $6 margaritas.
Enjoy a date night or family night out. Minors must be accompanied by an adult, and there is a kids’ menu. Make it a game-themed evening and visit the National Videogame Museum just five minutes away.
7. Prosper Wine House
Dance to live music, enjoy small bites, and choose from rooftop or indoor seating at Prosper Wine House. It has a great happy hour for date night or mom’s night out. Order $8 house wine, $4 beer, or $8 frozen drinks Tuesday through Friday and Sunday from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.

8. The Red Feather
Relaxation and quality time are the cornerstones at The Red Feather in Melissa. Browse the extensive wine menu, alcoholic drinks menu, or order a craft cola made in house with real sugar. Happy hour afternoons include select $6 glasses of wine or spirits and $5 appetizers from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.

9. Voodoo Brewing
Happy hour is the best time to try Voodoo Brewing‘s craft beers in Plano. Enjoy $2 off select beer and half-price appetizers Monday through Thursday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. It also has cocktails! If you’re looking to go alcohol-free, try one of eight sober concoctions.
In addition to the usual trivia and bingo night, this pub’s colorful calendar includes speed dating.
10. Whiskey Cake Kitchen and Bar
Get lost in the extensive whiskey list at Whiskey Cake Kitchen and Bar in West Plano. Try whiskies from around the world or right here in Texas. Can’t decide? Order a flight! Choose from Irish, Scotch, or Texas flights. “Social hour” is Monday through Friday from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. and features select $7 drinks and bar bites.
