Erica Grandin is a Dallas area lifestyle photographer specializing in newborn and family sessions for moms who know that babies don’t keep. She captures your family laughing and loving on each other so you don’t have to worry about missing these moments — only enjoying the ride! Erica has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan and brings 13+ years of professional experience in design and photography to your session.

I thrive on photographing you in your home and in my natural light studio. While I will always snap a few shots of everyone smiling at the camera, I am there to show your real personalities and the true heartbeat of your family. Clients say I’m down-to-earth and fun, and that I set them at ease by being silly with your kids while directing the grown-ups on how to move and play in front of the camera. Equal parts approachability and expert art direction!

All clients get access to my Session Prep Guide full of tips on how to prepare for your photos and lots of ideas on what to wear. The process is easy and I am always available for extra help (feel free to text me!)

I have three young boys of my own, and I am totally used to the chaos that comes along with little kids. I’m not afraid to play and be silly with your family to win your kids over and get those laughs. I want you to fall in love with your photos, and I enjoy working with my clients year after year. Giggly faces and candid moments are the heart of my photography sessions. I love creating an experience that the whole family will enjoy by tailoring the photoshoot to the needs of each family. I primarily shoot outdoors because I love the way the natural light breathes light into images, but if you want to do an in-home session I may make an exception.  Reach out if you want to relax and leave the worry of “who’s smiling at the camera?” behind you.

I focus on families and children, couples, maternity, engagement, and senior portraits. I want you to know that if you are ever in front of my camera, I’m going to be smiling like crazy during the whole session and the whole time I’m editing afterward.
