Hey Lady, great job!
I see you sitting there being an amazing mom. I see you doing everything you can to make life/lives easier for all the people around you. I see you constantly questioning your decisions, constantly worrying if you are doing it right, always wondering if you are raising those little loves to be great humans. I know you are worried about all the things – so no one else has too. I just want to give you the well deserved high five and tell you: YOU are just simply amazing.
You are an incredible person, a selfless person, and a caring person. You, my friend, are doing a splendid job.
Just in case you haven’t been told today how appreciated you are, well I appreciate you. And I know that everyone around you also appreciates you. They may not always say it, but they do. Oh they so do!
They know that their lives would be nowhere near as blessed, their days not nearly as smooth if it wasn’t for you. You, my friend, are the person that makes it all click — the glue that keeps it together. You allow each and every one of them to sleep a peaceful, magical, dreamy sleep. A sleep without worry. You do that, — you, my friend, do that.
You may have many more days of what feels like “failure” than you care to admit, but you know what I see in those days? I see a mom who is getting up every day and putting one foot in front of the other and keeping all the plates balanced so that everyone else can be their most amazing self. Where you may see failure, I see so much success.
Be proud my friend!!
I see you over there mom/mommy/mama/ma/mum/ima/mother [insert preferred mommy name]. I see you and I raise a glass to you! I give you the highest of high fives and I just want you to know how very valued you are. So on those days when you feel like you aren’t seen, please take just a moment to look yourself and say, “I see you. I know you are there. I know that you are amazing. And most of all I value you.”
Because my friend, you are too astounding to allow yourself not to be seen.
