Play from a selection of tabletop games or put together a puzzle at this come-and-go gathering beginning at 4:00 p.m. Cost is free.


Heritage Village Tours :: Chestnut Square
Thursdays – Saturdays

Head to McKinney and learn about life in the early days of Collin County. Educational tours are geared for all ages and begin at 11:00 a.m. through August 22. Tickets are $7 – $10.


Historic McKinney Trolley Tour :: Downtown McKinney
Saturdays

Passengers of all ages ride a vintage trolley to tour historic downtown McKinney. The guided rides take place Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. through September 12. Cost is $20 per person.


Kids Night Out :: Pipe & Palette
Fridays and Saturdays

Kids ages 5 – 16 enjoy an evening full of painting, pizza, popcorn, and a movie starting at 4:00 p.m. in Plano. Cost starts at $40 per participant.

Tuesdays

McKinney kids in grades k – 5 do themed STEAM activities and solve problems from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. Admission is free.


Plano Farmers Market :: The Shops at Willow Bend
Saturdays

Families shop local produce and artisan products every Saturday year-round from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.


Summer Movie Clubhouse :: Cinemark 
Monday – Thursday

Featured films for kids help beat the heat at participating Cinemark locations. Purchase tickets online or at the door for $1.75 per person, per movie. Snack packs are $1 off during Clubhouse showtimes.

Mini Volcanoes :: Frisco Public Library

Rising 6 – 12 graders make erupting volcanoes from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. Admission is free, but registration is required.

Night Hike: Firefly Walk :: Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary

Hike the trails at sunset to discover fireflies lighting up the night sky. An educational presentation begins at 7:00 p.m. for ages three and up. Admission is $14. Members pay $12.
