Across Collin County Moms, Dallas Moms, Denton County Moms, and Fort Worth Moms, we proudly host 39 community groups with more than 41,000 members. Our mission has always been simple and powerful: to help moms feel less alone and less isolated — something that matters now more more than ever. For the past 10 YEARS, we’ve created safe, welcoming spaces where moms from all walks of life can share their stories, build meaningful connections, and find encouragement. What Are Community Groups?
Community groups are spaces where parents in the same area can connect in a more personal way than a general social feed. They’re built around shared experiences, local needs, and real-life connection — like organizing playdates and meetups, swapping recommendations, sharing wins and struggles, and finding “your people” in the middle of busy North Texas life. At their best, community groups turn online interaction into support you can feel: a place to ask questions without judgment, celebrate milestones, and get plugged into resources and events that make parenting lighter, not lonelier.
That’s exactly where Collin County Moms shines — creating community that feels approachable, practical, and encouraging — backed by resources across its websites, original content, social platforms, sponsorship partners, and the groups themselves.
Our hope is to create a safe place for moms from all walks of life to share stories and receive encouragement.
For members, the perks are: Quick access to trusted local recommendations, encouragement from people who get it, and opportunities to meet others nearby without having to start from scratch. Beyond convenience, the biggest benefit is belonging. Parenting can be isolating, but being part of a community group means you have a place to ask, share, learn, and laugh with North Texas parents who understand your daily reality and want to help you thrive.
It is simple to join! There are no fees, no memberships, and no minimum attendance or participation requirements.
When you visit the community group Facebook page you wish to join, you simply click the “Join Group” option or input your name into the “Add Members” field. Easy peasy.

Being a community group leader is powerful because you’re not just managing posts, you’re shaping the tone and culture of a space people truly rely on. Leaders get to build something meaningful: A positive, welcoming environment where parents feel safe to show up as they are.
You become a connector, the person who helps new members feel included, sparks conversations that matter, and turns “I don’t know anyone” into friendships and real support.
Leadership also strengthens your own network and skills like communication, organization, problem-solving, and community-building, while giving you a front-row seat to what local families actually need. And there’s a special kind of fulfillment that comes from knowing you helped someone feel seen, informed, and supported on a hard day.
