When it comes to gift giving, my husband is AMAZING. He comes through with the big-ticket items, like my Cricut that I’m obsessed with, AND the grand gestures. There is a movie I had talked about loving growing up, but couldn’t find anywhere. He found, bought, and had it shipped . . . FROM ENGLAND! A decade together and he never ceases to amaze me.
However, this puts a TON of pressure on me. How am I supposed to live up to that? My strong suit is the smaller gifts: Easter baskets, Christmas stockings, etc. On Valentine’s Day, I put together a gift basket of some of his favorite things, and he loved it!
So, with Father’s Day coming up, here are ideas to make a “Bro-quet” for your special man to remind him how much he’s loved.

Fillers to Finish the Bro-quet
Sneak in more dad-approved puns with these ideas every dad will find handy:
- You light up our life! :: matches, lighter, flashlight
- We’re lucky to have you! :: lottery tickets, deck of cards, dice
- Our future looks sharp with you as our dad! :: sharpie pen/markers, pocket knife
- You are an uh-mason dad! :: jar filled with goodies, mason jar style cup with lid and straw
- Hugs and fishes for you, Dad! :: fishing line, lures and gummy worms, Swedish fish
- Dad, you’re stuck with us! :: duct tape, super glue
Less Bro-Quet, More In-the-Box Ideas
Here are a few more easy Father’s Day gift ideas he’s sure to love:
- MeUndies Membership :: These are crazy-comfortable underwear. Once a month, the membership sends him a “style of the month” pair of boxers or briefs at a discount. He (or you!) gets to pick the color or style. My husband and I both have MeUndies products, and LOVE them.
- Man Crate :: These are similar to a Birchbox subscription, for men. They literally come in a crate, and you pick the one that best suits your man’s personality.
- Dollar Shave Club Subscription :: It’s like a barber shop in a box. Get him one of the starter kits. He can customize his shipments for future orders.

Super post!! Love the pun round-up. Are you seriously gonna leave us hanging about what movie it was that he had shipped from England??? haha, I’m dying to know what it was!
Thank you for reading and liking my post!! The movie was “Holiday Affair” starring David James Elliot. It was a TV movie that my grandma had recorded on a VHS long ago and one of my favorite Christmas movies! 🙂
